After an hour of voice mode with Dot I can confidently say this was a rushed product release. It feels like a worse version of Grok Bot. Still has that GPT model issue of claiming things but then doing nothing about it, so you have to tell it to move at every step.

Most “agents are dumb” takes are really “I gave it nothing to work with” takes. Give it the right environment and a way to check its own work then get out of its way. You’d be surprised.

I have a problem with Opus 5.5 I give Opus a hard task and it spits out a solution in one shot. I then give Opus another task causing me to enter a flow state of productivity. Before I know it, 16 hours in the dev dungeon have passed and after 2 days of this I’m running out

Stop writing prompts Start every agent session with “ Interview me in depth until you understand what I actually want. Non-obvious questions one at a time” it feels slow. It’s the fastest thing I do.
