EndZone on X: "Bengals | 11-6 2nd AFC North Make Playoffs This organization has finally tried to fix their problems defensively. Massive changes to their front 7, and I think for the better even with Hendrickson gone. A lot of that is because Dexter Lawrence will give them a presence they haven’t had during the Joe Burrow era. I personally value dominant interior linemen more than EDGE rushers. Sacks are the flashy stat, but getting to 3rd and long because Lawrence is stuffing the run is critical, and that’s something they haven’t had. We all know what they have on offense and the problems there. Best WR duo in the league paired with arguably a top 5 QB, but they’ve had offensive line problems for years. There is hope though. They’ve been improving and played well toward the end of last year. I think they’ll prove to be average this year, which would be a tremendous improvement over past years. I think they’ll have a very workable schedule, and that’s ultimately what gets them into the playoffs. My bigger Bengals take is more about their future: trade Higgins or Chase. I don’t think you’re going to win a Super Bowl paying Burrow, Chase AND Higgins. When was the last time a team won a Super Bowl with two great WRs and a highly paid QB? I’m not a historian, but I wouldn’t be shocked if the answer was never. Personally, I’d look to trade Chase because you’d get a lot more in return, but eh, they just need to trade one. Stop trying to keep the Burrow-Chase-Higgins trio together at all costs. I think that’s part of what’s holding them back from building a complete roster. But they won’t, because this organization is scared to make a bold move."

Scared to make a bold move? They traded the 10th overall pick for Dexter Lawrence. 😂
