Ice Universe on X: "The Xiaomi 18 Pro’s 200MP mode is the king in my book right now. I carefully compared the original 200MP photos from the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Galaxy S26 Ultra, and the difference is even more obvious than I expected. The Xiaomi 18 Pro image is 12,288 × 16,384, around 201MP, with a file size of 82.38MB. The Galaxy S26 Ultra image is 12,240 × 16,320, around 200MP, at 63.52MB. Both are 200MP JPEGs, yet Xiaomi’s file is nearly 30% larger. File size alone obviously doesn’t determine image quality, but once you zoom into the originals, you can understand where all that extra data is going. Pay particular attention to the most demanding areas: leaves, tiny branches, and other complex high-frequency textures. The Xiaomi 18 Pro preserves noticeably more fine detail and maintains cleaner, more complete structures. At the same time, its colors are more vibrant and the overall image looks clearer and more pleasing. That’s what I love most about its 200MP mode: zoom out and it’s already a beautiful, eye-catching photo; zoom in to 100% and there’s genuinely 200MP-level detail waiting for you. By comparison, HP2 is really starting to show its age. The S26 Ultra can still capture a huge amount of information, but when dealing with extremely complex fine detail like this, the Xiaomi 18 Pro has clearly moved ahead. So among all the smartphones I’ve used so far, the Xiaomi 18 Pro currently has my favorite 200MP mode. It’s the king in my book. I’ve uploaded both full-resolution original 200MP files for everyone to download. Don’t take my word for it, and don’t judge them through compressed social media images. Download the originals, zoom in to 100% or even 200%, examine the leaves, branches, building textures and colors, and make your own judgment. Original files: https://t.co/riqgSfFwC0"
