If you've just bought a Galaxy Z Fold 8 or Fold 8 Ultra, one of the first settings you should try is turning off Cover screen mirroring. By default, the cover and inner displays share the same home screen layout, which can make organizing apps and widgets surprisingly awkward because of the Fold's different screen sizes.
Pinch the home screen > Settings > Cover screen mirroring OFF.
Now, each display gets its own independent layout. That means you can customize the cover and inner screens separately with different widgets and app shortcuts without affecting the other display.
This setting is a must . Had fold 7 before , without it on it’s a mess .
