The all-new generation Li Auto L9 has officially debuted.
Highlights for the top-trim version (L9 Livis) were released first, priced at 559.8K RMB.
1️⃣ The vehicle is equipped with an 800V fully active suspension system that eliminates the need for anti-roll bars, with a single-wheel lifting force exceeding 10kN.
2️⃣ It features the first drive-by-wire chassis to meet new national standards, including steer-by-wire, four-wheel steering, and the world’s first fully electronically controlled mechanical braking (EMB).
3️⃣ The vehicle is powered by dual self-developed Mach 100 automotive-grade 5nm chips, with 1280 TOPS each, totaling 2560 TOPS.
4️⃣ The exterior maintains the "classic design language" but with a shorter front overhang and a longer rear overhang. It offers custom two-tone paint and a gold coachline, with quality standards rivaling Maybach.
5️⃣ Side-mounted solid-state LiDARs are equipped, with the total number of LiDAR units likely reaching 3 or more. $Li #ChinaEV
- World's first fully by-wire chassis with steer-by-wire, 4-wheel steering, AND electronic mechanical braking in one production SUV. Li Auto calls it "anti-physics" body control. Launching Q2 2026 at $78k. The gap between Chinese EVs and legacy luxury is no longer about technology.
- The "L9 Livis" will pack 2,560 TOPS from dual in-house M100 chips—claimed to match 2-3 Nvidia Thor-U chips per unit. If true, Li Auto just turned autonomous driving into a co-designed silicon war. If not, it's an expensive distraction in a commoditizing market.
