UltraNav offers a fully integrated workflow environment, guiding customers through every phase of their project. Using digital elevation models, comprehensive 3D flight planning is fast, interactive, and cost-effective. Advanced mission management allows large projects to be divided into smaller missions that are exchanged through a single file, ensuring clear communication and status updates between office and flight crew. In the air, the in-flight navigation software manages camera parameter settings, exposure triggering, and automated mount stabilization to ensure precise ground coverage and image overlap. Two dedicated displays provide real-time navigation for the pilot and in-flight quality control for the operator, supporting smooth and efficient data collection.

Back on the ground, comprehensive post-mission quality control verifies that all project requirements have been met. Industry-leading GNSS/INS post-processing software ensures maximum accuracy and efficiency for direct georeferencing. This includes IN-FUSION+ PP-RTX, enabling centimeter-level GNSS/INS results without the need for base stations, as well as IonoGuard, advanced batch processing capabilities, and optional Camera QC Tools for additional validation and performance analysis.
Together, these capabilities provide users with a complete toolkit to reliably generate precise, consistent, and production-ready geospatial data. This end-to-end workflow ensures every project is delivered with confidende, meeting the highest standards for accuracy, reliability, and detail.

For easy handling and space saving in often cramped aircrafts, the IMU and UltraNav module are fully embedded into the UltraCam sensor head. In 4th generation UltraCams, both can be comfortably accessed via a bay door on top of the camera and can be changed on-site.
