Transport to Rodbaston

College Minibuses

Our transport routes are subject to change on an annual basis and are designed based on the number of students that apply for transport from the many different locations across Staffordshire and beyond. Therefore, we ask that students register their interest with the college via our Expression of Interest form and confirm this interest with a small deposit of £20.

Transport routes will be finalised in early summer and published in August 2026. All students who have registered and paid their deposit will be guaranteed a seat to Rodbaston College. If your location means that transportation is via one of the external providers of transport, your deposit will be refunded in full.

General information:

All college minibuses are fitted with tracking systems, safety belts and a college employed driver.

All routes operated by South Staffordshire College are subject to last minute changes to timings and pick up points.

For some college students, transport may be fully or partially funded subject to bursary funding from the college. You can find out more information about bursaries here.

Minibus transport fees:

• When you have been assigned your route and pick-up point by our team, this will fall under a particular ‘zone’ and you can find the transport fees applicable for all zones below.
• A £20.00 deposit is needed to secure your place, this will be deducted from your first instalment.
• Transport fees are payable over 8 monthly instalments from the 15th October 2026 to 15th May 2027.

Commercial Routes

Our preferred travel partner Select Bus Services also operate several routes onto campus.

You will have to purchase tickets on board to travel on any of these routes and Select accept both cash and contactless payments.
