Food Handlers Certification and Authorization Training Program

Make sure that the data entered is exactly as it appears in any legal document.

The Registration:

Register your organization first through the “Food Handler Training & license program platform”, and you will receive an email with the registration ID.

Use the registration id to access the platform.

Choose either a test or training.

Tests:

  1. The test fee is QR 50 per person per test.
  2. Candidates for the test must be filled in individually.
  3. The test is mandatory for everyone.
  4. The test requires physical attendance at the Qatar Chamber.
  5. The test fee must be paid so that the company can choose the test date for its employees
  6. the test date cannot be modified
  7. The list of examinees cannot be modified
  8. The test fees will be repaid when you attend the test
  9. Those who have not passed the test must be re-tested by re-registering for a new exam with a new fee.
  10. The test fees cannot be refunded if the employee leaves the company.
  11. Review the company’s account on the platform to find out the test result and complete the rest of the procedures.

Important Notes.

  1. Employees must be alerted to come in modest and appropriate clothing (it is not allowed to enter in sports clothes, shorts, or use of sandals).
  2. Workers must be alerted to adhere to the instructions of those conducting the test to ensure the safe conduct of the test.
  3. It will not be permissible to violate the right of a Chamber employee if he is assaulted, as stated in Article (166) of the Penal Code, which consider insulting a public employee by assaulting him in a way that undermines his dignity is considered a criminal offense. It is equally valid for the assault to be verbal, such as uttering words that insult him, or by gesture, such as making offensive gestures towards him. The perpetrator of this crime shall be punished with imprisonment not exceeding six months, or a fine not exceeding three thousand Qatari riyals, or both penalties.

Training:

  1. Training Types
    1. Type 1: Through Qatar Chamber (optional)
      • Option 1: internal (at applicant facility, external trainer) Qr. 150/person
      • Option 2: external (at training facility) Qr. 200/person
    2. Type 2: training conducted completely internally (trainer and candidate from same company)
      Acknowledgement letter must be filled, signed and stamped. (text template to be copied and pasted on company letterhead)
  2. The training option for candidates must be filled out individually.
  3. If training through Qatar Chamber is chosen, a minimum number of attendees must be met, the course will be selected and the date and time will be provided.
  4. All attendees will be provided with a certificate of attendance from the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
  5. A certificate of attendance will be offered to those who attend 80% of the course hours.
  6. Once the training is completed, the organization must proceed with the above testing process

License:

  1. The license issuance fee is QAR. 50 .
  2. A personal photo of the employee must be included with a white background only, size (5*6)
  3. The license will only be granted to those who have achieved a passing score on the exam
  4. The license is subject to all applicable laws and conditions of the State of Qatar.
  5. The validity period of the license is 3 years from the date of announcing the result at the company’s account on the platform
