AMD V-Series V105

The AMD V-Series V105 (sometimes also called Sempron V105) is a Notebooks processor for small and light subnotebooks / netbooks. It is aimed to compete with the Intel Atom CPUs and compared to an 1.6 GHz Atom (e.g. N450), the V105 should be a bit faster on average.

The AMD V105 is part of the Nile platform in conjunction with the 880M chipset (including the Radeon HD 4225). Therefore, the V105 usually features a faster graphics card, than Atom based systems. Compared to Turion II and Phenom II CPUs, the V105 offers only a 64 Bit FPU.

The V-Series V015 includes an integrated DDR3-1066 memory controller and a 1000 MHz clocked HyperTransport 3.0 link to the chipset.
