Samsung Galaxy M08 will be getting up to six years of OS updates, which as an entry-level phone is unusual. It is the M-series twin to the Samsung Galaxy F08, finished in Silver or Dark Blue with a glass front, plastic back, and plastic frame.
IP64 covers dust and water splashes on a 167.4 x 77.4 x 8.0 mm, 197 g body. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor handles unlocks, and Circle to Search, Quick Share, Knox Vault, SmartThings, stereo speakers, a 3.5mm jack, and FM radio round out the extras.

Samsung Galaxy M08 uses a 6.72-inch PLS LCD at 720 x 1600 pixels, a 20:9 ratio, and about 262 ppi. The screen-to-body ratio sits near 85.2%. A 90Hz refresh rate keeps scrolling smoother than a basic 60Hz panel on this class of phone. There is no dual display.
On the platform side, the Mediatek Helio G99 (6 nm) drives an octa-core setup with 2×2.2 GHz Cortex-A76 and 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55 cores, plus a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. Software is Android 17 with One UI and up to 6 major Android upgrades.
Memory is locked to 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage. A dedicated microSDXC slot is there when you need more room for photos, apps, or offline media.
Video on the rear dual camera reaches 1080p at 30fps or 120fps. The front 8 MP camera records video as well, which covers casual clips and video calls without chasing cinema modes.
Still photos lean on a 50 MP f/1.8 wide lens with a 1/2.76-inch sensor, 0.64µm pixels, and PDAF, plus a 2 MP f/2.4 depth camera and an LED flash. Up front, an 8 MP f/2.0 wide shooter with a 1/4.0-inch sensor and a 1/4.0-inch sensor and 1.12µm pixels handles selfies.
Samsung Galaxy M08 packs a non-removable 6,000mAh battery. Wired charging is rated at 25W over USB Type-C 2.0, which fits long days better than fast top-ups.
Samsung Galaxy M08 Price in Nigeria
The Galaxy M08 goes for about 152,600 Naira (115 USD). That puts it in the entry M-series lane for buyers who want a big battery and a long update window without stretching the budget.
If you want another solid pick in this bracket, the HMD Vibe 2 Pro is worth a look. Tecno’s Spark 50 5G brings a different midrange angle, and the Oppo K14 Lite is another option if you are shopping the same shelf.
