The iQOO 16 5G is on sale in China. Orders opened after the colour and display teasers, and the retail sheet finally puts numbers on the gaming pitch that iQOO has been pushing all month.
It uses a 6.85-inch Samsung M16 OLED at 3168×1440 with 165Hz LTPO. Touch sampling is 500Hz and can burst to 5,000Hz. Brightness is listed at 10,000 nits locally and 2,800 nits full-screen, with 3,300Hz PWM and 508ppi. Inside is Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 plus a Q4 gaming chip, with LPDDR5X Ultra Pro and UFS 4.1 on the higher configs. The battery is 8,400mAh with 100W wired and 40W wireless charging.
Cameras are a 50MP OmniVision OV50Q main with OIS and LOFIC, a 50MP GalaxyCore ultrawide, a 50MP Sony LYT-600 periscope with OIS, and a 32MP GalaxyCore front camera. The sheet claims up to 8K video and 100× digital zoom. Software is OriginOS 7 on Android 17. You also get IP68/IP69, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, dual Master Pro speakers, and an 8,500mm² vapour chamber.

China pricing starts at 5,999 CNY for 12GB+256GB, then 6,799 CNY for 12GB+512GB, 7,499 CNY for 16GB+512GB, and 8,499 CNY for 16GB+1TB. That wraps the earlier September 29 colourways, prismatic design and Geekbench look, and Samsung Display briefing already on NAA. Peers in the same window include the OnePlus 16, Oppo Find X10, Vivo X500, and Xiaomi 18 Pro.
Nigeria pricing and a firm global window are still open. We will update this story when iQOO publishes regional SKUs.
