We recently took legal action in Germany against Elite Robots’ German subsidiary, Elite Robots Deutschland GmbH, for copyright infringement of our software. The court has now issued a preliminary injunction in our favor. Elite Robots Deutschland GmbH must immediately stop offering or distributing the infringing software and all products containing this software. While this is not a final ruling from the court, it is a clear indication that we have a very strong case. Jean-Pierre Hathout, President of the Teradyne Robotics Group, commented: “Automation and innovation are critical to our industrial future. We cannot passively allow companies to unlawfully copy protected technologies. This not only hampers research and innovation but also undermines customer experience and confidence. Teradyne Robotics remains fully committed to protecting our intellectual property and to ensuring automation customers have access to the safe, innovative and high-quality solutions they deserve.” Read more here https://brnw.ch/21x1MZf

This week at NVIDIA GTC 2026, we unveiled the UR AI Trainer, our new imitation learning platform developed by Universal Robots in partnership with Scale AI. The platform enables synchronized collection of robot motion, force and vision data directly from robots already deployed in production. By leveraging Direct Torque Control and force feedback, UR AI Trainer supports the contact‑rich demonstrations required to train emerging Vision‑Language‑Action models, helping accelerate how complex assembly, handling, and packaging tasks move from research to real‑world deployment. 📖 Learn more A deep dive is available in our News Center: https://lnkd.in/esBawrzd #TeradyneRobotics #UniversalRobots #ScaleAI #NVIDIAGTC #PhysicalAI #Robotics #IndustrialAI #Automation

We’re taking decisive action to protect innovation and consumer interests. Today, we announced that we are taking legal action in the German courts against Elite Robots for copyright infringement of Universal Robots’ software. This case is about more than intellectual property rights - it’s about protecting the integrity of automation and ensuring customers have access to original and proven solutions. Our message is clear: innovation matters, quality automation matters and we will defend both. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/d4YsXS3u

74% cost reduction and up to 100x more doses… Multiply Labs uses robots to automate cell therapy production. The robots mimic human processes and scale output, making life-saving therapies far more accessible 👏 This approach has been proven effective in peer-reviewed studies with UCSF and Stanford. This is a critical message for leaders in manufacturing and logistics. An automation strategy should be driven by the application and ROI, not by the allure of science fiction. The immediate gains available from proven technologies like cobots and AMRs are too significant to ignore while waiting for a far-off solution.
Over the years, I’ve witnessed how hard it can be to find and retain skilled labor for #manufacturing and logistics, and how critical it is to augment workforces with tools that are both safe and scalable. I’ve been asked recently whether #humanoids hold the key, and if the current hype surrounding them is justified. My answer to both questions is no. And it’s likely to remain so for some time. What these environments need is more of the right kind of advanced #automation, and my fear is that if the buzz surrounding humanoids continues, companies risk waiting for the technology to properly mature. And if they do, they’ll be ignoring far better-suited #robotic solutions available right now. I believe focus needs to be grounded in reality, not science fiction. Have a read of my latest post on this topic and let me know what you think in the comments. Is the current humanoid hype justified, or not in your opinion? I’d truly love to hear what you think.

🌟 Don’t waste any more time. Say goodbye to labeling headaches. 🌟 This robot? It labels containers from 2.5 to 30 liters — smoothly, consistently, and without complaining once 😉 Its compact design means it fits where others can’t. Quick setup. Easy cleaning. Precise presets. No drama, just perfectly placed labels. It’s the kind of automation that doesn’t scream for attention — but once you see it in action, you’ll wonder how you ever worked without it. ______________________________ New video’s → don’t miss→ follow up 🕵️Piotr Stanecki
