About us

Supported by Pivotal, a group of organizations founded by Melinda French Gates, the $60 million WIN Challenge aims to discover and scale innovative ideas to help women thrive and everyone win in a rapidly changing workplace. I am deeply honored to be named to Fortune Magazine’s Most Powerful Women list alongside so many extraordinary leaders. No one reaches milestones like this alone. Moments like this always bring me back to the people who made the journey possible. I think about my parents, who taught me that character matters more than circumstance, and the mentors, sponsors, colleagues, and friends who believed in me along the way. This recognition also reinforces something I believe deeply: leadership is not just about title, but about impact, creating opportunities for others, and leading authentically. At TIAA, our mission is bigger than any one person. We are helping more people build financial security and create stronger futures, and it is a privilege to do that work alongside such passionate colleagues. I’m grateful for this recognition and for the responsibility that comes with it. #FortuneMPW #Leadership #WomenInBusiness

Ahead of Mother’s Day weekend, we want to recognize moms and mother figures redefining what work can look like—with words they don’t hear enough. “Work” can have a lot of different meanings—from the workplace to life at home. Whatever work means for you, we see you and all the ways you show up every day. 🌷 It’s not easy to juggle the responsibilities of everyday life, and moms deserve the support they need to thrive. At the WIN Challenge, our goal is to amplify innovative ideas that can help reshape workplaces and shift narratives to actually work for more people. Happy Mother’s Day to all of the amazing moms out there!
