TAPA Recognizes Members for Exceeding Expectations
BOCA RATON, FL — During its recent 20th Anniversary Global Conference in London, the Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) presented awards for distinguished service and commitment to Susan Griggs, Advisor – Global Security, Eli Lilly and Company, and Taya Tuggle, Director of Quality and Compliance, Air and Ground World Transport. Both were recognized in large part for their work in developing TAPA’s 2017 Freight and Trucking Security Standards. The standards set minimum security guidelines for storing, handling, maintaining, and transporting high-value assets.
“Griggs and Tuggle have played an integral part in TAPA’s Worldwide Change Control Board, which is in charge of developing security standards,” said TAPA America‘s Chair, Anthony Leimas. “Because of their work, the TAPA Standards have become known as best in class for mitigating the risks of cargo theft.”
TAPA’s 20th Anniversary Global Conference was the most significant gathering of global supply chain security professionals in TAPA’s history with over 500 members and partners in attendance from the EMEA, Americas and Asia Pacific regions.
