Save Time using the Format Painter

The Format Painter is available in Microsoft Office and rests next to the copy button. The trick most people do not know is that you can double click the format painter if you want to use it multiple times. First select the desired format you wish to copy somewhere else. Then double click the format painter. A paint brush will appear next to your mouse icon. While you see this paint brush, select all the text/objects you want to format. The format painter stays on until you hit ESC or click back on the button to disable it.

If you only need to use the format painter once, click it once and after you finish it will automatically turn off.

Watch my format painter video I created to share some examples with this tool in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
