Let's talk about your mindset

Happy Wednesday everyone, I hope you’ve had a lovely week so far!

This year is FLYING by and with two bank holidays I am really enjoying May! I’m excited for summer now that we’re getting closer 💫

Today we’re talking about Pizza Hut, living in the present and bringing joy to your weekdays.

Let’s get started!!💗

Today I’m speaking about Pizza Hut 🍕

The Total Eclipse of the Hut post got my attention, as did their fantastic April Fools campaign

Communities aren't formed in just one place, you need to interact with your audience at every stage of the customer journey and social media is a key part of this🫶

Pizza Hut are doing a great job of creating content that’s reactive and engages their audience

Let’s have a round of applause for their social media team 👏

I’m really excited to welcome today's guest. Meet Isabella O'Brien , she is sharing some very valuable mindset advice 💗

“Hi everyone,

I’m Issy, a marketer with some pretty big dreams.

The best piece of advice I’ve ever heard came from a 17-year-old boy.

I know, I know… I can already tell what you're thinking! 17-year-old boys often have very little rattling around up there. What useful advice could they ever give?!

Well, the quote goes as follows, ‘Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it’.

Now if you’re a fan of films from the 80’s then you may know who said this, so hats off to you.

If you don’t, don’t worry. This was Ferris Bueller’s final line in the iconic film ‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off’.

Nowadays, everyone seems to be so caught up in working towards these big goals that they forget about each small hurdle they must overcome to get to it. This can quickly become demoralizing, especially if the main goal looks as though it’s failing to get any closer.

To help combat this, I think people need to adopt a new mindset, where they’re not only able to step back and see how far they’ve come, but also start to live in the present where the small wins are celebrated.

From today I urge you to start looking out for the positives, the things that you were able to influence that went well, no matter how minor.

You might have had a post go viral, signed a new client, smashed a meeting with your boss or maybe you got up, made the bed, and brushed your teeth.

Whatever it is, even if it may seem insignificant, be proud of it.

So, please remember to celebrate the little things, the small wins, the tiny triumphs."

I love this so much! It can be so easy to look at big goals and feel like you’re not doing enough or you haven’t achieved enough yet. Looking at each step you’ve taken and seeing the positives in that is so powerful💗

Wednesday is my favourite day of the week and it’s a nice time to do something for yourself 🫶

Today I’m encouraging you to do little things throughout the week that you can look forward to.

This could be cooking your favourite dinner, going out for a walk in the evening or even having a slow morning

I love this as it gives me things to be excited for throughout the week, not just the weekend 💗

Today I want you to tell us one fact we may not know about you! 🥰

This is a fun icebreaker and can be applied to any industry (no excuses haha)

I look forward to learning more about you all, please use #DiaryOfAYoungMarketer as I would love to see.

Have a lovely rest of the day🫶

Speak soon!

Imogen, I always look forward to your insightful posts! Pizza Hut's recent campaigns truly demonstrate the power of engaging, reactive content. Isabella's advice on celebrating small wins resonates deeply—it's a reminder that appreciating our journey is just as important as reaching our destination.

Pizza Hut's social media strategy indeed deserves recognition for its creativity and engagement. Consistency in content creation is a key factor in building a strong online presence. Keep up the good work. 👏
