Blogging is Dead. Distribution is King
If you’re in content marketing, this one’s worth your time.
I’ve been thinking about this over the long weekend.
Content marketing is changing.
Yes, we’ve heard that before. But this time, it feels different. Like, actually different.
So, I’m finally going to say it:
Writing blogs is dead.
Sure, AI can still write them. You can edit, polish, tweak.
But the good old blog-as-a-hero strategy? While it's nostalgic, you should bury it and move on.
So what now?
The fundamentals still matter. But now, distribution is the game.
AI will help you build faster and better - so there’s no excuse not to use it.
You’ll need to shift your focus from just creation to strategy and smart planning.
You’re not just publishing anymore - you’re producing at scale, every day, across platforms.
Quantity matters now. Not over quality, but in tandem with it.
And the missing piece is always: distribution.
Here’s a simple framework:
Say you have 10 blogs.
Now repurpose them in 100 different ways - seriously.
• Carousels? ✅
• Reels? ✅
• Emailers? ✅
But go beyond the obvious.
Make a list of 10 ways to use each blog across every platform.
Then break it down:
• What can AI handle?
• What needs partial human input?
• What needs to be done manually?
And now - distribute it all.

Push from every front:
• Founder-led brand voice
• Company pages
• Employee advocacy
• Paid media
• Organic reach
• Website SEO
• Social media
• WhatsApp, Telegram
• Community groups
• Collaborations
• Influencer-led content
You need to do everything, be everywhere, all at once.
And yes, you need to track it all, too.
Building a brand today is not easy.
But the good news?
You don’t need a massive team.
Just a couple of smart, driven people, maybe an agency or two - and smart use of AI.
That’s it.
This is what modern content marketing is all about.
Want to dive deeper?
I’m thinking of writing more on how to build a strategy for this new era.
If you’d like to read that, drop me a message or a comment.
Need to know if this resonated with anyone.
Until then -
Cheers!
