But rather than giving up hope, they are focused on what they can do: prioritizing around the more likely risks, and working with local communities to adapt to their changing circumstances. Companies like Extreme E are setting a precedent on how you can run a major sporting event while being environmentally conscious. Extreme E is a thrilling off-road racing series that features electric vehicles competing in remote locations affected by climate change. Given the huge audiences for motor sport, Extreme E uses electric racing to raise climate awareness and foster innovation.
