Great example on how Chainguard and Booz Allen can satisfy the governments efficiency efforts with quantifiable value. Booz Allen used Chainguard’s technology to unblock a defense ATO process that had been stalled for nearly a year—achieving approval in just eight weeks. In the first year alone, their engineers avoided countless CVEs and saved thousands of hours, allowing them to focus on mission outcomes instead of chasing vulnerabilities

This partnership with Booz Allen Hamilton is just the start. Federal agencies are already demanding continuously verified software — secure by design, with trusted SBOMs and clear provenance. My prediction: state governments will soon follow, embedding these same expectations into new bids and contracts — building secure-by-default into every layer of government software delivery. The future isn’t point-in-time compliance — it’s continuous assurance.
