I loved it Gill Phillips! Such a wonderful, meandering conversation. We could have gone on all day.
I really like this, I’m hoping to “normalize” our debriefings. We have them after an incident but I was going to trial in some of our busy sites having one every day. My thought is that if it becomes part of how our teams work when challenges arise, it’s easier to talk about them together. Time is so precious so nothing lengthy or heavy We have daily buzz meeting so I was thinking a quick fire 5-10 minutes and rotate who leads the debrief so everyone has a voice. 1. Wins & Positives What went well today? Who do we want to recognize or thank? 2. Improvements & Learning What could we do differently next time to make things smoother or safer? Were there any near-misses or challenges worth noting? 3. Looking Ahead Is there anything we need to prepare for tomorrow? Any support or resources needed? And …..always end with appreciation to reinforce positivity.
