Good Morning, Atlanta. ☀️ Here’s a drone capture — Google’s Atlanta headquarters at 1105 West Peachtree emerging through the fog in Midtown. 📍 This striking 31-story office tower was designed by Rule Joy Trammell + Rubio, a respected Atlanta-based architecture firm shaping some of the city’s most notable buildings. The project was developed by Selig Enterprises, a long-standing local firm that has played a major role in Midtown’s transformation over the past decade.  Brasfield & Gorrie served as the general contractor, bringing this complex mixed-use development — which also includes hotel and residential components — to life.  Atlanta continues to grow, and buildings like this aren’t just beautiful — they’re strategic assets for the city’s economy and community. Some buildings carry more than just structure. They carry history. Recently, our team captured the existing conditions of a heritage building located at 212 Dundas St E in Toronto, home to the well known Filmores Hotel. This site has been part of the city’s story for more than a century. The property traces its roots back to the late 1800s and evolved over time from a private residence to the Wilton Court Hotel in 1915, later becoming the Westover Hotel and eventually Filmores, one of the most recognizable landmarks in Toronto’s Garden District. In 2016, the building received heritage designation, meaning that any redevelopment must preserve key architectural elements and respect its historical significance. Projects like this highlight the importance of accurate digital documentation. When working with heritage structures, precise data capture allows architects, engineers, and developers to understand existing conditions while protecting the character of the building. A new way to experience a development before stepping inside. We recently had the opportunity to produce a fly-through marketing video for The Juniper & The Reserve in Midtown Atlanta. Located along Juniper Street just steps from Piedmont Park, the project is a two-tower residential development totaling nearly 500 apartments across 37 and 34 stories. The development is a joint venture between Middle Street Partners and AECOM-Canyon Partners, with architecture by Brock Hudgins Architects and construction by Brasfield & Gorrie. Our goal was to help people experience the property — not just see it. For this project we combined several tools: 🚁 aerial drone footage to show how the towers sit within the Midtown skyline 🎮 fpv drone fly-throughs to move fluidly through interior spaces and amenities 📍 ground cinematography to highlight architectural details and design features 📸 high-resolution imagery to support leasing, marketing, and promotional materials 🎨 custom graphics and visual overlays to enhance the storytelling 🤖 ai-assisted tools in post-production to help refine visuals and streamline the editing workflow For developers, realtors, architects, contractors, and engineers, visuals like this can do more than promote a building. They help teams: • show how a project fits into the surrounding city • communicate the design intent and spatial experience • create stronger marketing and leasing materials • document milestones during construction • tell the story of a development in a way drawings and renderings alone cannot Projects like The Juniper & The Reserve are part of the continued growth shaping Midtown’s skyline.
