Happy International Data Center Day! Today, we celebrate the mission at the heart of International Data Center Day: inspiring the next generation of data center professionals and raising awareness of the essential infrastructure that keeps our world running. As the No.1 data center architect in the U.S., we’re committed to designing environments that enable the industry to innovate, grow, and shape the future of how we live and work. Travel + Leisure recently released its list of the Most Beautiful College Campuses in the U.S., and we’re proud to say Corgan’s Urban, Campus and Culture practice has contributed to more than ten of them — including some of the most iconic names featured: Duke, UVA, Princeton, Yale, University of Chicago, Ohio State, Georgetown, Colgate, Harvard, and UT‑Austin. For more than four decades, the team has partnered with over fifty institutions of higher education, shaping campuses across the country and abroad. Our work spans a range of institutions, from the Max M. Fisher College of Business at Ohio State to Duke University Medical Center facilities, UNC Chapel Hill’s Institute for the Arts & Humanities, and new academic spaces at the New School, Columbia, and Hunter College, as well as the Ertegun Scholars House at Oxford University. Our approach remains constant: create buildings that are contextual, timeless, and deeply connected to their settings—while featuring modern, flexible, high‑performance interiors. If you’re interested in the evolution of collegiate architecture—and how historic models continue to shape campuses today — Corgan Principal, John Kirk's piece, quoted in Architectural Digest, offers a thoughtful look at the lineage from Oxford and Cambridge to today’s American universities, the mid‑century challenges that nearly broke this tradition, and the renewed emphasis on craftsmanship and contextual design.
