Why Instructional Design Matters Training without a strategy is like content without context. That’s where Instructional Design comes in. We help organizations: 🔹 Convert complex concepts into simple learning 🔹 Build engaging eLearning content 🔹 Deliver measurable outcomes through structured design Let’s craft learning experiences that stick. #InstructionalDesign #LearningStrategy #LMS #CorporateTraining

The result? Designs that don’t always serve the learner. Great reminder that tools alone don’t make great learning; thoughtful design does. 🎧 Watch the full episode via the link is in the comments. #InstructionalDesign #eLearning #LearningTheory #AdultLearning #LearningAndDevelopment

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about how powerful storytelling can be in eLearning. When we design training with a story in mind, it changes everything. Learners stop feeling like they’re just completing a module—they actually connect with the content. They see themselves in the situation, make real decisions, and understand the “why” behind what they’re learning. I like to think of storytelling as the bridge between knowledge and experience. A strong character, a relatable challenge, and meaningful choices can turn information into something that truly sticks. For me, that’s what great instructional design is all about—creating learning experiences that feel real and make an impact long after the course ends. How do you bring storytelling into your learning designs? #InstructionalDesign #eLearning #Storytelling #LearningExperienceDesign #LXD #TrainingAndDevelopment

📑 The storyboard is the blueprint of your eLearning solution. It is a plan that specifies the visual elements, sound elements, interactions and details relevant to the learning solution that will be developed. Simply, a storyboard outlines the learning content, screen by screen. Any developer should be able to pick up a storyboard and successfully develop the learning solution as it was planned. 📺 Watch the video on our YouTube: https://lnkd.in/gPBGkUmD 📂 Check out our Storyboarding Mini Course on our creator hub: https://buff.ly/48Qg1k1 💜 #howToCreateAnElearningStoryboard #howToCreateAnElearningStoryboardOnlineCourse #howToCreateAnInstructionalDesignStoryboardOnlineCourse #howToBecomeAnInstructionalDesigner #HowToStoryboardAnElearningProject #howDoYouUseAnInstructionalDesignStoryboard #whatIsAnInstructionalDesignStoryboard #howDoYouCreateAnInstructionalDesignStoryboard #StoryboardingMadeEasyForInstructionalDesignersAndELearningDevelopers #eLearningDeveloperCourses #InstructionalDesignerCourses #StepByStepLearningDevelopmentCourse

What separates an effective eLearning program from one that misses the mark? 👀 It often comes down to the methodology guiding it. 👉That’s where ADDIE comes in. The framework of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation ensures that every stage supports learner skill-building, knowledge retention, and on-the-job application. Thorough analysis identifies true learner needs. Strategic design creates engaging content. Careful implementation makes learning accessible across devices and locations. Continuous evaluation reveals what is effective and what requires refinement. When eLearning is developed this way, it evolves from a compliance task into a powerful driver of growth. ☑️ Learn more about how to build custom eLearning that delivers results: https://lnkd.in/gPAcVsei #InstructionalDesign #ELearningDevelopment #WorkplaceLearning #ClarityConsultants #JustAddClarity

I've been creating eLearning content recently. There are some excellent authoring tools available, and I've enjoyed learning the new skills required to build quality online content. I believe that this format has a valuable part to play as part of a blended learning journey. Here are some of the key tips I've identified for eLearning content design. * Keep it short and focused! If a lesson is going to take more than 15 minutes for the learner to complete, then it’s too long. Break it down into a series of smaller lessons. * Be clear about your objectives. What is the course intended to achieve? Who’s the target audience? Content creation is not an opportunity for you to showcase all of your knowledge! Content has be thoughtfully selected. * Be inclusive of diverse learning styles – keeping in mind the VARK framework (Visual, Auditory, Read/Write, Kinesthetic) is helpful. * Signpost the material, with the key takeaways set out up front, and the more minor details further down. * Keep it interactive. Include questions, quizzes, scenarios, links to videos – all of these ensure the learner is thinking and consequently retaining the knowledge as they progress through the course. * Consider how you’re going to evidence learning transfer – will there be an assessment and a certificate of achievement included in the course? * Seek out and act on feedback. #LifeLongLearning #Training Photo by Wes Hicks on Unsplash

That folder of PowerPoints you've been ignoring? It's actually a goldmine of eLearning content. PPT to SCORM conversion lets you: 🎯 Reuse existing slides instantly 🎯 Deploy through any LMS seamlessly 🎯 Track completion and learner progress 🎯 Skip the "rebuild from scratch" nightmare I just converted several old decks—the tracking capabilities alone made it worth it. For anyone creating learning content, this is a game-changer you need to explore. What's your biggest challenge with converting existing content?
