"AI is a mirror, not a miracle." Really great conversation with John Queally from Clari on the challenges GTM teams face when trying to get their data foundations in order, and why that's so crucial before taking any action (human or non-human) on it. Appreciate you John!

Marketing teams were always under-resourced. #AI just made that unacceptable. High stakes. Constant pressure. And never enough people to meet the moment. Deliver more with less. That used to be the norm. Now? It’s a breaking point. It made me speak with someone already operating five steps ahead - Lillian Pierson, P.E., engineer, data strategist, and fractional CMO. We explored what this means in practice: marketing teams aren’t getting bigger. But 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 - fast. In this episode, we talk about: – Why experimenting with AI should be a daily habit – How AI agents can finally solve the resourcing gap – Why today’s CMOs must combine strategic thinking with AI fluency – How to lead future-ready teams without burning them out For every #marketer under pressure to deliver more with less - this is for you. ▶️ YouTube: https://lnkd.in/dbPACP8R 🎧 Apple Podcasts: https://lnkd.in/d8evmJBy The future’s already being built. A couple of weeks ago, I was listening to The Data Chief podcast, where Geoff Woods, author of "The AI-Driven Leader," reminded me that the real power of AI isn't speed, it's perspective. AI can help us see what we don't see and reach better outcomes faster. When you treat it like an expert on your side, one that challenges your thinking, it becomes a thought partner. Lately, I've been focusing on how AI can help us make better decisions. Not just automate tasks, but uncover new ways to widen our moat and drive meaningful business impact. That's the next frontier for leadership: using AI to think differently, not just move faster. How are you using AI as a thought partner, and not just as a tool?

AI reflexivity isn’t just jumping to use AI by default. It’s developing an instinct on when AI is useful, when it’s a maybe, and when it’s just easier to “use the screwdriver instead of the power tool” Fun episode with Farhan Thawar from Shopify

More doesn’t mean better, input does. In this episode of AI for Business Owners Podcast my guest Tao F. co-founder of PhrenTech and One Tech Pony, and I explore how business leaders must rethink their approach to AI. You don’t succeed by throwing more data at the problem; you succeed by giving the right instructions. Clarity in your prompt is equal to clarity in your output. It’s not about “less is more”, it’s about “less is enough to be precise.” Stop the back‑and‑forth with the machine. Think upfront, give the context, give the constraints. When you treat AI like a junior analyst rather than a magic black box, the results become usable, actionable, and trustworthy. Your journey with AI doesn’t begin with scale, it begins with discipline. 🎧 Listen to the full episode here: https://lnkd.in/ep432z6n Hashtags: #AIforBusiness #PromptEngineering #BusinessOwners #TechnologyLeadership #AIinBusiness #StrategicAI

Most teams don’t have an AI problem.” They have a thinking problem. They ask AI to “help” before they’ve even clarified what “help” means, then complain when the output is generic. As Harsha Pai, co-founder of Aithon Solutions, said on Pipeline & People, “The tool is never the issue. It’s how clearly you define the problem.” AI doesn’t think for you, it scales the way you think. If your inputs are fuzzy, your operations will be too. The teams getting ROI from AI aren’t “prompt engineering.” They’re architecting clarity: 1️⃣ Mapping their process before automating it. 2️⃣ Defining what “good” looks like before delegating it. 3️⃣ Building feedback loops until human and machine start reinforcing each other. Which isn't a tech upgrade, it’s a discipline upgrade. Because the only thing worse than not using AI… is using it to scale chaos. 🎙️ Full episode with Harsha on the Pipeline & People podcast, live now.
