How are corporate innovation teams actually embedding AI into their work? Disruptive Edge, in partnership with Innov8rs.co, Aucctus AI, and MaRS Discovery District, is launching the first global study exploring how AI is being integrated across corporate innovation teams. We are benchmarking how teams are applying AI today, where they are seeing results, and what separates early movers from the rest. If this is relevant to your role, we would love to hear from you! The survey takes 5 minutes, and participants will receive early access to the findings. Survey link: https://lnkd.in/e7v9RTJw
✦ 𝑯𝑶𝑾 𝑨𝑹𝑬 𝑰𝑵𝑵𝑶𝑽𝑨𝑻𝑰𝑶𝑵 𝑻𝑬𝑨𝑴𝑺 𝑨𝑪𝑻𝑼𝑨𝑳𝑳𝒀 𝑰𝑵𝑻𝑬𝑮𝑹𝑨𝑻𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑨𝑰 𝑻𝑶𝑫𝑨𝒀? ✦ At Innov8rs Toronto next month, we’ll present the first global benchmark of how AI is embedded in corporate innovation. Many of our community members are experimenting with integrating AI in different stages of the innovation management process, and we've discussed many promising use cases (as well as failed pilots) in several sessions over the last two years. But there’s still little visibility into how organizations actually compare when it comes to value that's being gained from it, or how they are dealing with important enablers like tooling and governance. That's why in partnership with Disruptive Edge, Aucctus AI and MaRS Discovery District we're doing this benchmark study, and we'd love to hear about your experience. Could you complete this short survey? https://lnkd.in/e7v9RTJw It takes max 5 minutes, and you'll receive early access to the findings which will be unveiled at the Toronto conference. You can also raise your hand if you'd like to get your custom analysis (after report launch), showing how your organization compares to the peers in the benchmark. Rest assured, this won't be another report telling you what people ⒯⒣⒤⒩⒦ about AI. This first-of-its-kind research report measures what innovation teams actually ⌁⌁do⌁⌁ with it in their day to day.

How is AI shaping the consulting firm of the future? In a new Harvard Business Review article, our CEO Tyler Anderson and Partner David Duncan, together with Jeffrey Saviano, explore this question. For decades, firms have relied on the same model, dubbed the pyramid: a broad base of junior consultants doing research and analysis, supporting a narrowing set of managers and partners at the top. The pyramid model has defined the industry’s economics and identity for half a century. But AI is changing all that. Tasks that once took weeks can now be completed in hours using generative AI, predictive algorithms, and synthetic research tools. But this isn’t the end of consulting, it’s the beginning of a new model. In the article, they introduce the consulting obelisk: a leaner, rebalanced structure where AI-enabled teams can deliver faster insights with greater impact. They also share real-world examples of this emerging model, including how we’re applying it at our own AI-native consulting firm, Disruptive Edge. Our new Harvard Business Review article is out today about how AI is transforming the 'consulting pyramid' to the 'consulting obelisk.' For decades, consulting firms have followed the same structural playbook, dubbed the pyrmamid: a broad base of junior consultants, progressively smaller mid-level layers, and a narrow apex of senior leaders. This structure has powered the economics of consulting and shaped the profession’s identity. But AI is changing that. AI tools are automating the very tasks that once filled junior consultants’ weeks, reducing the need for a wide pyramid structure, redefining roles, and freeing consultants to focus on what matters most: judgment, creativity, and deeper engagement with clients. In this new HBR piece, we explore the rise of the consulting obelisk: a rebalanced structure with fewer layers and more leverage at every level. It enables firms to move faster, operate leaner, and deliver more value with fewer people. We also share real-world examples, including how we’re applying it at our own AI-native consulting firm, Disruptive Edge. Here's the link: https://lnkd.in/eAKJP3jK Thanks to my coauthors Tyler Anderson and Jeffrey Saviano - and special thanks to our terrific editor Steve Prokesch. #HBR #HarvardBusinessReview #AI #strategy #futureofwork
