Online education has gone mainstream. But success requires more than uploading videos to YouTube. 🎓 Professional e-learning platforms need: → Course organization (modules, lessons, prerequisites) → Progress tracking (completion, certificates) → Interactive elements (quizzes, discussions) → Flexible monetization (subscriptions, course purchases) → Mobile accessibility (learn anywhere) Video length sweet spot? 6-12 minutes per lesson. Bamboo Cloud provides the foundation for professional e-learning—branded, scalable, and built for how people actually learn. 🔗 www.bamboo-cloud.com #ELearning #OnlineEducation #EdTech #VideoHosting #BambooCloud

There's a difference between a course and a slideshow. A slideshow presents information. A course changes behaviour. A slideshow has "Next" buttons. A course has decision points. A slideshow tests recall. A course tests judgement. A slideshow is forgotten by Friday. A course is remembered because it felt real. We build the second kind. Every course we create starts with a storyboard — not a template. We write scenarios where learners make decisions and see consequences. We design assessments that test whether someone can actually do the thing, not just recognise the right answer. And we test every course in SCORM Cloud before it ever touches your LMS. If your team needs a course that actually works, not just one that technically exists — that's what we do. usevollume.com #CustomElearning #CorporateTraining #LearningDesign #InstructionalDesign #Elearning

Codemo Teams Community successfully completed the Jams Bot for Udemy project, which is now running live on a cloud server. Every Friday the #udemy channel in the Codemo Teams Discord community will automatically receive newly updated Udemy learning content shared for students and active learners. This project is built purely for the community without funding or external interference. Are your students using the same academic language as you are in class? You can use tools, like TeachFX, to visualize students’ vocabulary use in a word cloud and reflect on your lesson delivery to enhance opportunities in-class for students. What tools do you use to help students vocalize academic language in-class and how do you measure the use? #math #engagement #academicvocab #coaching

In a compliance training project delivered outside an LMS, the team used the Cluelabs Data Cloud Widget to record button clicks, quiz scores, and reflections to a cloud table. The resulting data allowed them to see how interactive elements correlated with understanding and refine the course.

OMG, decided to look at some LinkedIn Learning courses - what a pile of poo "a new version of the GCP course you're halfway through has been released"... ... click... "welcome to this completely unrelated Microsoft Azure course" FFS this is bad. And that's not mentioning the "foundational learning path" has obviously been cobbled together out of seemingly random, barely related content, put together with absolutely no sense of progression. I might as well play youtube roulette 😂

Quick question, does anyone know a tool to 1) register attendance for participants, and 2) to do an interactive quiz? Wait... Never mind! I'll build it myself. Some context: For a workshop, I wanted two things in one place. First, an easy way to register attendance. Without printed lists or signatures. Second, a simple icebreaker. A few quick questions at the start of the workshop. Then the answers show up live in a word cloud or short survey, which I can show to the participants. I know there are already tools for this. But in this case, it was quicker to vibe code one myself. Faster than searching, comparing, making an account, adding payment details, and learning a new platform. What I find interesting is not just the tool itself. It is how easy it has become to build small, practical solutions for a specific use case (e.g. class or workshop). Any way, this tool could also be useful for lecturers, trainers, and workshop facilitators. Here is the tool: https://lnkd.in/e2hWZpkJ It's free!
