Presented recently at DrupalCon Vienna, Canvas enables users to design and build entire websites directly from the browser, without needing deep Drupal knowledge. But what really caught my attention 👇 Canvas integrates a React-compatible layer (via Preact) — allowing developers to create dynamic code components that fetch data using JSON:API. That means we can now mix the best of both worlds: 💧 Drupal’s strong content architecture ⚛️ React-style components and dynamic behavior 🧩 A visual builder that empowers both developers and content teams This is a huge step toward bridging Drupal’s flexibility with modern front-end innovation.
