From AI pilots to digital twins at scale At the 4th SWAN - The Smart Water Networks Forum Asia-Pacific Workshop, SA Water, Water Corporation and TeamSolve showed how artificial intelligence and digital twins are converging to deliver operational efficiency and sustainability. SA Water’s live network model simulates system behaviour every two hours to optimise pump use and respond to incidents in real time. Water Corporation’s automated pipeline control has achieved a three-year payback through energy savings, while TeamSolve’s AI “knowledge twin” is capturing decades of operator expertise at Wannon Water.
