Why Real Estate Ownership Matters: As telecom densification accelerates, owning the land beneath towers, fiber hubs, and data centers is becoming an important advantage. Accelerate is proving that point as they are now celebrating 10 years in business and 300+ site acquisitions across digital infrastructure. Their model appears to be simple but powerful: Acquire fee interests or easements beneath operational assets and then provide lump-sum capital to landowners, while leasing back to mobile network operators, tower operators, and data center providers. From fiber switch centers to EV charging sites, the thesis holds: every network buildout sits on real estate that must be secured and financed.
