Phase 5 Wrapped This is where ideas stop sounding impressive and start getting tested. Experimentation doesn’t care about polished slides, it cares about proof. Throughout the simulation, we weren’t just following a framework. We were challenging assumptions, testing logic, and separating what sounds strategic from what actually creates impact. One insight stood out: small improvements don’t shift markets. Clear direction does. We were pushed to focus on one deliberate move not a long roadmap, not multiple upgrades just one strategic shift strong enough to reposition and practical enough to test. Big takeaway? Strategy only matters when it can be executed. Insight without action is just theory. Design thinking builds the confidence to commit: This is the move. Its the last week of our Finetik Case Study and today we used the Plus One Pitch Canvas as part of a Design Thinking consulting simulation which helped bridge analysis and execution. By grounding the pitch in the AS-IS value chain, reframing challenges through “How Might We” questions, and focusing on a single, measurable improvement, the exercise reinforced the importance of disciplined problem framing and incremental change. This approach turns insight into action while keeping delivery realistic and value-driven.
