Last month, I coorganized Seattle Startup Summit where we hosted a Startup Demo track with early stage AI startups presenting their products to the attendees and judges. It’s easy to get buried in the tactical day-to-day, but hearing from Arsham Ghahramani, PhD, JJ Tang, and Rishi Nayyar on Scaling in the Age of AI was a good recalibration for me. (Also great to see more grassroots tech events in Toronto—shoutout to Radical Ventures and Rootly for hosting!) In particular, hearing Arsham reflect on building Ribbon AI-first made me realize how far our CS team has come in the two months since I joined (which may have taken six months or more previously). The best part? There's much more to come; as we like to say, our greatest customer outcomes are still ahead of us. Startups have always moved fast, but with AI as a force multiplier, the pace is faster than ever. It’s no longer just about the speed of execution. It’s now also about the massive scale of impact one person can achieve.
