We help growers grow more fruits with smart tools, and care for our Earth.

About us

Human Vision is not only time-consuming but has its limitations due to cognitive bias. At present, the labor cost in orchard management and maintenance accounts for 56% of the total operating cost. At Cropmind, we utilize Computer Vision technology to support Fruit Growers in making data-driven decisions and eliminate the need for expensive manual labour. Our online analytics web platform allows tree fruit growers to automate their crop management tasks over the fruit lifecycle from the dormant stage to the harvest stage; providing a more accurate and faster insight to growers about the status of their fruit development. Some of the cropload management services we provide includes tree segmentation analysis, flower count, fruit count, flower and fruit classification, fruit abscission insights, and yield prediction. Our innovative platform is adaptable to various hardware and seamlessly integrates data from any source, including drone captures, GoPro cameras, and 3D cameras. Join us in revolutionizing agriculture and promoting food security for a better tomorrow. #Computer Vision#Analytics#PrecisionAg #SmartFarming #SustainableAgriculture

  • This is exactly what we’re building ! Emmet, and it means everything to have you out in the rows showing Sonoma growers what’s possible. One GoPro pass at budbreak turns into a full vine inventory and the foundation for yield prediction, just the camera already in a grower’s pocket. Grateful for the partnership with RESERVOIR and Sonoma County Winegrowers

At the beginning of the winegrowing season here in Sonoma, video from a basic GoPro or phone is uploaded to the CropMind Inc (Techstars '25) platform to map the vines and inventory at budbreak. This is the first step to building the model to support crop yield prediction, reducing time spent on manual scouting. This was tested last season in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia with up to 97% accuracy. I have been supporting CropMind through collaborations with winegrowers and RESERVOIR and Sonoma County Winegrowers to show them what this exciting technology can do.

  • When your growers start telling the story for you, you know you are building something real. Jacqueline (Jacq) Kemp, Franca- Franca/Therapy Vineyards & Inn and Foxtrot Wines, recently joined BC Food & Wine Radio to talk about how Canadian wineries are using AI to fight climate change and crop loss. Listen to the conversation to learn about how CropMind's technology has been useful to her operation. Jacq is not just a client. She is one of the most experienced and respected voices on the Naramata Bench, and hearing her speak about the value of block-level data and frost intelligence in her own words, on a public platform, means more to us than any marketing campaign we could run. This is exactly the problem CropMind was built to solve. BC growers are facing increasingly unpredictable seasons, tighter margins, and weather events that demand faster, better-informed decisions. Give the episode a listen. The full conversation is recorded live from the deck at Poplar Grove Winery on the Naramata Bench, which is about as BC as it gets. Link to the episode here - https://lnkd.in/g63HGwrk. Thank you, Jacq, for your trust, your candour, and for championing this conversation publicly. It means everything to this team. #CropMind #BCWine #OkanaganValley #NaramataBench #Agritech #VineyardIntelligence #AcceleratedWithGoogle #ClimateTech #CanadianWine #FrostProtection

  • We have some news. CropMind will be at the 2026 Google for Startups Accelerator Demo Day on Tuesday, May 26. Demo Day is the final showcase for the Google for Startups Accelerator: Canada cohort, and it brings together founders, partners, and the broader startup community to see what this year's companies have built. We are proud to be among them. Being part of this cohort has sharpened how we think about building, scaling, and delivering real value to the growers and winery operators who depend on our platform every season. The Accelerator pushed us, and we are better for it. Tomorrow, we get to show what we have built. If you are attending Demo Day, come find us. If you are following along from afar, watch this space because we will be sharing what we presented and what comes next. A big thank you to Iran Karimian and the entire Google for Startups and Google for Developers team. Thank you for the opportunity, the support, and the community. This has meant a great deal to our team. The best is still ahead. Damilare O. Odumosu, M.Eng. and the CropMind team. #AcceleratedWithGoogle #GoogleCanada #GoogleForStartups #CropMind #BCTech #Agritech #CanadianStartups #DemoDay

At April’s Pitch Breakfast, one thing stood out clearly: investors are actively looking for strong opportunities in food, agriculture, and health innovation. Last month’s session brought together one of our strongest investor turnouts to date — reinforcing the growing appetite for sector-focused, high-conviction dealflow across agtech and healthtech. A big thank you to Dr Mike Forseth from Ava Industries for kicking off the morning with reflections from his own founder journey and words of encouragement for the companies in the room. Meet the founders who pitched: 🔹 Medda Technologies (Dr. Graham Friesen & Richard Okeke | Healthtech) -  helping patients and care teams share a complete, up-to-date health history 🔹  CropMind Inc (Techstars '25) (Damilare O. Odumosu, M.Eng.| Agtech) - using field video and satellite intelligence to support smarter vineyard and orchard decisions 🔹 LyfeMD (Lorian Taylor, RD, PhD | Healthtech) - combining clinically validated lifestyle interventions with scalable technology for gastrointestinal and autoimmune care 🔹  AgGene (Logan Skori, Ph.D. | Agtech) - developing advanced plant biotechnology traits to improve crop resilience and protein yield 🔹  PhantomOmics (Carson Sander| Healthtech) - building AI-powered, non-invasive healthcare screening infrastructure for earlier, smarter intervention 🔹Enriched Ag (Kalon Armstrong | Agtech) - helping ranchers turn operational data into actionable insights through advanced vision-based analytics These sectors aren’t built for overnight wins. Health and ag founders often spend years navigating research, regulation, validation, and commercialization before meaningful scale. But the conversations in the room reinforced why investors continue to lean in: these companies are tackling fundamental challenges around food systems, healthcare, and human wellbeing. Pitch Breakfast continues to create space for founders to pressure-test their companies, build investor relationships, and gain practical feedback in a curated, high-signal environment. #yycTech #InvestorHub #HealthTech #AgTech #StartupYYC

  • Throwback to Penticton, November 2025. A room full of the right people, great food, outstanding wine, and one conversation that mattered: how BC growers can move through every season with more confidence and less guesswork. This evening in #Penticton was one of those nights that reminded us why we do what we do. People were not sitting across a boardroom table. They were in the room with us, glasses in hand, talking honestly about the challenges of growing in the Okanagan and what better data could mean for their operations. That is the kind of conversation CropMind was built for. We are deeply grateful to the voices who helped make the evening what it was: Josh Ravell, Maverick Estate Winery, for bringing the perspective of a grower who knows this valley intimately. Jacqueline (Jacq) Kemp, Franca- Franca/Therapy Vineyards & Inn and Foxtrot Wines, for championing precision viticulture and pushing us to build something that actually works in the field. John Pullen, Rainmaker Wines, for the candour and the questions that made the conversation richer. Events like this one are where trust gets built. We left Penticton with new relationships, sharper thinking, and a renewed sense of purpose. More of these to come. Watch this space. By the way, what happened in Penticton doesn't have to stay in Penticton. We are always happy to keep the conversation going, book a demo at https://cropmind.ca/ or email us at info @cropmind.ca #CropMind #BCWine #OkanaganValley #VineyardIntelligence #Agritech #Penticton #ThrowbackThursday

  • A new Deloitte report commissioned by Wine Growers Canada just put a number on something Canadian vineyard operators have always felt in their bones. Canada's wine ecosystem contributes $10.1 billion to GDP and sustains nearly 100,000 jobs annually. That's not just an agricultural story. It's a precision farming opportunity hiding in plain sight. But here's what the report actually reveals for growers: Canada needs to produce and sell an additional 54 million litres of wine annually to hit a 51% domestic market share. That means roughly 16,000 new acres under vine, more efficient production, and better block-level decision-making from season one. (If you're interested in the full report, you can get it here - https://lnkd.in/gMymKG6s) One thing is very clear, though: the industry isn't short on ambition. It's short on data that arrives early enough to act on. That's what we built CropMind for. 97% yield estimation accuracy vs 60% when you do it manually. Block-level visibility during the flowering window, when decisions about barrels, labour, and logistics are still open. The Deloitte numbers confirm the stakes. The growing season is the window to act, and we are always ready to talk whenever you are. A new analysis from Wine Growers Canada highlights the significant opportunity ahead for the Canadian wine sector if longstanding barriers impacting wineries are addressed. The report estimates the Canadian wine industry already contributes approximately $10 billion in economic activity and supports nearly 100,000 jobs nationwide, while also identifying substantial potential for future growth. Wineries across Canada continue to play an important role not only in agriculture, but also in tourism, hospitality, entrepreneurship, and local economies. Wine Growers British Columbia is proud to continue working alongside industry partners to help advance these important national discussions. Read the report https://lnkd.in/gMymKG6s

  • Day 3 at Web Summit Vancouver. The energy at our booth yesterday was nothing short of incredible. We have spent the last three days talking to founders, investors, and growers from across the world, demoing our Vineyard Intelligence platform, and having the kinds of conversations that remind you exactly why you started building in the first place. The CropMind team has shown up and shown out. There is still one more day to go. If you are at the Vancouver Convention Centre tomorrow, come find us at our booth. We would love to show you what block-level frost intelligence looks like for your vineyard in a live demo, right there on the floor. Can not make it in person? Book a demo at https://cropmind.ca/ or email us at info @cropmind.ca, and we will bring the experience to you. Vancouver, it has been a privilege. We are not done yet. #WebSummitVancouver #CropMind #BCTech #Agritech #VineyardIntelligence #Startups #Vancouver
