Procedural Hexapedal Animation & Rig Demo Just a little sneak peek into a bigger project I'm trying to do at the moment. I want to create a procedural hexapedal rig that uses IK constraints on the feet to move in a fluid walk cycle that adapts to the terrain as the root is animated along the desired path, hopefully saving me a lot of time painstakingly animating the insect. I want to be able to adapt this rig system to other insect models I have made. This will all be done in Houdini.

I-clone/character creator. has always been powerful and should be in every animators arsenal, get on it real quick, its so powerful if you learn it, Its Ai's Ai, if you understand photorealism, lighting and have time to experiment. The most versitile application i have ever used. It would be great if Reallusion could introduce node based story telling, ie, pre catogorized animation scripts with camera setups combined for standard scenarios and shot types ie, close up diaolgue camera, hero camera, wide scene context and arial camera, all programmed to interact and work once combined. for example if i were to create a scene with two characters talking and needed three scenes going at once, or individually, a close up, an two alternate angles, without having to use markers, cues and switches once production needs to be rendered out. I started with iclone 5 professional. it was my favorite version, ( The producer control option ) Im still an avid user for personal projects and movies.
