In this episode, Brandon Pierpont goes beyond ad tactics and shows painting contractors how to turn attention into revenue. Live from PCA’s Women in Paint, he breaks down winning Meta ads (CPM, conversion, creative that drives engagement), the “micro-sales” inside your sales process (speed-to-lead, pre-estimate value, selfie confirmations), and the review, referral, and neighborhood-take-rate plays that compound ROI. Practical, no-fluff steps to lower CPL, raise close rates, and build a profitable growth engine. Demand for great creators has never been higher, but the supply of powerful talent is limited, making it harder than ever for brands to attract and retain them. The creators choose brands they believe in, products they already use, and missions they want to stand behind. The brands winning today understand creators deeply, align with their values, and focus just as much on retention as they do on acquisition. Listen to our podcast where Bora Mutluoğlu and Christian Zilio break down how to move beyond mass product seeding and build a powerful community of creators who actually convert: https://lnkd.in/e5E2UuJe

When margins get tight, it’s tempting to throw another discount at the problem. But as Richard Schenker told me on the podcast recently, that kind of loyalty is fragile. It’s not loyalty to you…. it’s loyalty to the price point. The best kind of loyalty comes from how your brand makes people feel. From rituals, consistency, identity, and experience. That’s what keeps people coming back even when something cheaper is just down the street. The takeaway: Use discounts when they make sense!!! But don’t let them be your entire strategy.

If you’ve been following me for a while, you can probably tell the holidays are when I tend to get a little extra reflective...things "slow down" just enough to think about where we’ve been and where things are headed next. Lately, I keep coming back to one misconception I still see around podcast advertising: the idea that it only lives in one part of the funnel. It’s often framed as purely top-of-funnel, even though performance marketers are using it very successfully to drive bottom-of-funnel results. The real strength of audio isn’t about forcing it into a predefined box. It’s about starting with clear objectives and building a strategy that supports those goals, whether that’s awareness, consideration, conversion, or long-term brand growth. As we look toward 2026, I believe the advertisers who will win are the ones who stop asking where podcasting “belongs” and start asking how it can work hardest for what they actually need.
