    This week I’m in Nashville for the BDSS AI Ecom Mastery Event. This is one of the first events I’ve been to where you can be talking to someone about what AI agents they’ve built while a contortionist is passing by with their foot literally on their head. Kevin King and team definitely know how to entertain and educate at the same time. Events like these justify all the time I spend traveling… which many people ask me about. The reason I travel so much is because there are certain things that are said, vibes that are felt and conversations that are had in person that are almost impossible to have organically otherwise. For example, I learned all about AI TikTok shop affiliate accounts that basically run on autopilot and PRINT money with bottom of funnel content. There are groups of affiliates doing this with tens of accounts each and they’ve shown me the back ends of their accounts as proof. I learned that high GMV creators generally do not want to be in the same community with low GMV creators and prefer a tiered system for more exclusivity and relevance in conversations with peers. I learned that Nashville BBQ is different than Texas BBQ and apparently better??? The Reacher team and more specifically Sohun Sanka will be speaking about advanced creator acquisition strategies for TikTok shop, tapping into your customer voice with automation, improving clickthrough rate on videos and really automating as many things related to TikTok shop operations as possible for brand owners.     I've avoided using n8n because I was told it was too technical. But this week I dived in and started with a simple workflow to help with posting content on LinkedIn. Here's how it works: Step 1: N8N triggers the workflow I'll schedule this to run every Monday via claude or within N8N natively. Step 2: Exa searches the Internet Exa allows me to find TikTok Shop insights that are controversial and interesting that Google may regularly miss. It'll even help me find insights from Reddit, X and Linkedin that are publicly indexed! My friend Brandt Hedgpeth who leads GTM at Exa walked me through the benefits last week and now I can't get enough of it! Step 3: N8N accesses all my top performing content to fine tune the output I store my top performing posts in a database that my AI agent uses to guide the hooks and brainstorm different angles I can write my draft with. This makes sure that I'm always leaning into content angles that work for my brand on social media rather than just summarizing news. Step 4: AI summarizes the insights specifically in a way that marketers can understand it. I ask AI to summarize the results so a 5th grader can understand it. Then explain why it matters for marketing leaders. Then to challenge the insight as an expert performance marketer. This allows me to get the juices flowing for my own opinion on what's currently trending in TikTok Shop. Step 5: Run into into a post Scheduler I run this output into Blotato so it can create a draft that's ready to post across all my social media accounts. Blotato has a special API endpoint that allows me to post across social because you can't automate posting to social media via N8N natively. Step 6: Manually write the content Even though I leverage AI I still manually write my content otherwise it doesn't sound like me!     Our brands send over 10m messages to affiliates every month. Yet on average only 2.5% reply. Here are three things I'd do to fix that. 1. Select the right creators for your brand If you are hitting up creators who have never created content in your niche and are disconnected from your core customer avatar they'll be confused why they received a message from you 2. Illustrate the value of your offer in a $'s Instead of saying, you'll get 20% commission. Say you'll get $10 every time you make a sale. Highlighting the dollar value up front can make the offer much clearer to creators. 3. Create urgency with deadlines Let creators know your sale, ad spend push, or any other incentive is ending by X date. This gives them a reason to respond and take action.     I've spent three years traveling around the world teaching brands how to make video content on TikTok Shop. Yet my entire Linkedin is text posts.. So I finally invested in a real setup. Camera, greenscreen, audio and lighting (the last two are in the mail). I realized there are so many details and visual components behind my strategies that text just can't capture in a LinkedIn post. So I'm going to start documenting everything. My strategies, brands I build up, AI workflows, wins and losses, etc. Right now I'm a beginner editor so it'll probably take me longer than I'd like to admit 😅. But I'm super excited for it!!!     We spent 7 hours filming content to rank on Google and get cited by AI. Here's the framework I used to find 117k+ in monthly searches with almost no competition. When I was planning this I thought it would be as simple as traditional SEO. But because TikTok Shop is a niche field we had to get creative. Here's the three layer framework I used: Layer 1 - Keyword Arbitrage I logged into Ahrefs and found Keywords under a 20 keyword density. This means that they were not tough to rank on. Then I ranked all the keywords by traffic potential and only took those over 1000 monthly searches. Layer 2 - Community Signal I created an AI agent to scrape Linkedin, Reddit, Youtube and X to find out what the top operators painpoints were. I prompted my agent to analyze posts by engagement and then pull the top 10 from each platform over the L30 days. Layer 3 - Content Priority Score I created a composite score across all three layers to determine where we should focus on first. The formula focused on keywords with high traffic potential, low KD, and cross analyzed against social media topics for relevance/trends. (Traffic Potential / KD) x Social Media Relevance score = Priority score. Afterwards we planned to clip highly relevant content and post across social channels.     69% of creators stay in a community because of personal transformation. Yet the brands I work hire performance marketers to deliver that... Here's what ends up happening. The brand hit scale on their social commerce platform. Decides community is the next step. They bulk invite 1000 creators into Discord overnight. Then the performance marketer gets to work: - Building a dashboard - Tracking message volume - Monitors conversion rate into Discord Six months later the server is dead. I'd ask the performance marketer how many creators they jumped on calls with. The answer is usually none. The fault is in the marketer because they didn't make the creator feel like they belonged. Here's what they should have done instead: 1. Offer support to creators whose videos consistently flop 2. Follow up with solutions when creators ask questions in the community 3. Talk to creators 1x1 and ask what they want to see more of It's not scalable or measurable but that's the point. You have to operate inefficiently if you want outsized returns. That's why some of the biggest TikTok Shop brands have their founders personally texting top performers, sending gifts on milestones, and checking in just to check in.
