But what that means is eliminate talented artists from your pipeline and replace them with talentless prompt writers for pennies on the dollar. All to produce shiny slop built on the hard work of the artists you are pushing into unemployment. Your sales pitch isn't working. It's offensive. I won't touch your products with a 10 foot pole! These students are entering the industry at a difficult time. Their talent deserves opportunities way more than any AI software you are selling. If you are producing animation, VFX, video games or any other creative media you should source your art from human beings and pay them a fair wage. If studios shift to AI, the opportunities for talented creatives will be lost there will be no creative growth in the industry. AI will hit it's wall with a lack of new content to train on and just regurgitate the same slop back to us. In the short run it will make some talentless hacks a quick buck. But in the long run it won't be sustainable and the industry will creatively rot. Where will the creative future be to pick up the pieces and start over? As a veteran professional in the industry and an educator this is what keeps me up at night. We need to do better. Creativity is the foundation to being human.
