How do we make decisions in schools, policy, or leadership? Do we rely on intuition, or let research guide us? I try to ground my choices in research studies, they give me a stronger foundation than instinct alone. But here’s the question: how lasting is that evidence? What feels valid today might not be in two, three or in five years, as contexts change, student needs evolve, or new findings emerge. Hasan Alisoy’s (2024) research on multilingual education reminded me of this: research can inspire practice, but it's the context that matters the most. So perhaps the real question is: how can we use research as a compass, while staying open to change when the evidence itself changes? Any thoughts? 🧠 #Education #Leadership #Research #DecisionMaking #EvidenceBased

Every classroom has different types of students, and each type needs a different strategy. Managing them is not about control, it’s about influence and structure. In my view, Intelligent but Disruptive students are the most difficult to handle, but every teacher has their own experience. The strategies I shared in the slides offer practical ways to deal with all types.
