Midi puts a lot of effort into connecting with women where they are. (If you're in our demo and on Instagram or TikTok, we've definitely met.) We don’t just talk about who we are; we dive deep into the menopause experience—the 😵💫, the 🤣, and everything in between. Authenticity and relatability are essential to engaging women in midlife for many reasons, not the least of which includes the impact of the past. Gaps in knowledge and care have left many women unaware that their symptoms can be treated, dubious about whether they can find a clinician who gets (or even believes) what they are experiencing, and hesitant to even try. We know it. We've felt it. We work hard to communicate about those lived experiences and share that women CAN feel like themselves again. Midi President and Co-Founder Sharon Meers spoke about this at yesterday's #HERSummit. She noted that beyond our direct impact on women in need of menopause care, employers, payers, and health systems also benefit from the awareness- and engagement-building effects of our DTC efforts. In fact, by the time they partner with us, many of their members are already Midi patients or are interested in becoming one. ✅
Love how Midi is closing the gap between feeling unheard and actually getting care. It is so true that half the battle is just finding a clinician who genuinely believes what you are going through. When women finally feel seen it changes the whole healthcare game Do you think the biggest hurdle for most women is the lack of information or just the fear that they wont be taken seriously by doctors? #MidiHealth #WomensHealth #MenopauseCare #HealthcareInnovation
Great Presentation Sharon!
Midi Health This is a critical approach and one reflected in my doctoral research on Black and Latina women navigating perimenopause at work. Authenticity isn’t just engagement, it’s a trust-building intervention. Validating lived experiences helps restore agency, access, and willingness to seek care. The impact starts with women feeling seen and believed. #WomensHealth #HealthEquity #MenopauseAwareness #WorkplaceWellness #Inclusion #EmployeeWellbeing
