**Build Accountability Into Your eLearning Courses** If you’re using Articulate (highly recommend Articulate suite of products) and you want to build accountability into your courses, consider the following: First, chunk your course into manageable sections. Not only is this good teaching practice, but it helps prevent cognitive overload. If you are building your course with Articulate Rise, you will want to add the “CONTINUE” button to the bottom of each section and select “Complete All Blocks Above” as the completion type. This will ensure learners need to complete all interactive activities before advancing to the next screen. Add knowledge check questions throughout the course. This has the dual benefit of checking for comprehension and building repetition into your course. Repeated exposure and practice helps solidify skills and concepts into long-term memory. I recommend giving learners a separate knowledge check that includes those same questions later in the course. You will be able to keep a pulse on learner analytics and see how they are progressing through the material.

Accessible eLearning opens doors for every learner: it's not just a checkbox, it's a game-changer for organizations! Here are a few ways to make your digital training more inclusive: • Use clear headings and simple language: all learners benefit from clarity. • Add alt text to images and descriptive labels to interactive elements for screen reader users. • Consider color contrast and don’t rely on color alone to convey meaning. • Design navigation that’s logical and keyboard-friendly for those with mobility challenges. Accessible learning just makes sense: it’s good for business, for compliance, and for every person on your team. What’s your favorite accessibility tip or tool to use? Share in the comments! Why SMEs Matter Behind every great eLearning program is a subject-matter expert. SMEs bring industry knowledge that transforms learning into real-world skills. Without them, courses risk being generic. Think about it, have you ever taken a course and thought, “I already get the basics... what I really need is that next-level insight to move forward”? That’s the gap that happens when training isn’t shaped by experts. When SMEs are involved, learners don’t just hear theory. They gain insider know-how, practical shortcuts, and real-world context that actually help them perform better on the job. At E-Learning Mix, we make SMEs part of the process from day one, so learning feels less like a textbook, and more like a roadmap to real success. 👉 Learn more at www.elearningmix.com #instructionalDesign #LearningAndDevelopment #elearning #SME #TrainingDesign

What is an interactive online course/eLearning/digital learning? An interactive online course is a digital learning experience designed to engage learners, not just inform them. It blends teaching, storytelling, visuals, and activities to help people understand and apply what they’re learning in a personal, hands-on way. Instead of passively watching or reading, learners interact, click, reflect, respond, and grow at their own pace. At Biblically Fit Learning, we design online courses that do more than deliver content, they create connection. Whether your course is completely self-paced or a combination of online and in-person learning, we build experiences that are purposeful, engaging, and Spirit-led. Every lesson is crafted to meet learners where they are and guide them toward lasting growth. Have a PowerPoint? We can recreate that online too!

I often meet L&D professionals who want to upskill in Instructional Design but don’t know where to start. Recently, I found a certification that focuses on real-world, project-based learning not just theory. It’s designed to help you create learning experiences that truly engage, not just inform. What I liked most is how it blends learning theories, modern tools, and AI-based design practices giving you both structure and creativity to build impactful courses. If you’ve been thinking about moving from content delivery to learning design that drives performance, this might be your next step. Check out the program here: https://lnkd.in/dQYtV5wm

Engagement in eLearning isn’t just about completion rates. To truly understand how effective a course is, you need to dig deeper: • Are learners interacting with the content, or just clicking through? • Are they coming back to revisit material? • How much time are they spending and where do they drop off? These signals help paint a clearer picture of what’s working, what’s missing, and where learning can be improved. At Xpan, we believe engagement is the bridge to education and ultimately empowering learners to drive real-world impact. How do you measure meaningful engagement in your learning programs? #eLearning #LMS #LearnerEngagement #DigitalLearning #InstructionalDesign #XpanInteractive #LearningExperience

Turns out, not everyone loves to learn — but that’s where good design comes in. Here are the 3 Simple E’s of eLearning 👇 💡 Entertain — Give your learners something that makes them smile. It could be a lighthearted joke, a story from your week, or a fun visual twist. 📘 Educate — Share something that sticks. A surprising fact, a new concept, or even just a term they’ll remember later. ⚙️ Engage — Get those gears turning! Even if you’re not in the room, you can still make it interactive. Incorporate real-world scenarios, challenges, or quick quizzes to pull them in. These 3 E’s will help you create eLearning that actually sticks — because here at MindClub we’re making eLearning, not eHearing. 🎯
