Just had an inspiring session at #SXSW2025 with Kimberly Storin, Courtney Hawkins and moderated by Eugene Sepulveda on agile leadership and building resilient, high-performing cultures—a topic that’s more relevant than ever. One of the biggest takeaways? Culture isn’t something that just happens—it’s something we create and need to continue to foster. Being deliberate about the culture we build is critical, and leaders play a huge role in shaping an environment where people can thrive. But it’s not just about setting the vision—it’s about reinforcing it every day through common language, consistency of message, and embedding it into policies and processes so they complement and strengthen the culture. It’s also essential to ensure alignment between internal and external-facing roles so that the culture we build internally is the same one our customers experience. When employees feel the culture consistently, they naturally extend it outward—creating stronger, more authentic connections with customers and partners. A few key insights that stuck with me: 🔹 Clarity fuels agility – When people understand the why, they can confidently adapt the how. 🔹 Small shifts make a big impact – Simple rituals, like intentional check-ins or celebrating small wins, help reinforce a culture of trust and engagement. 🔹 Alignment is everything – When policies, processes, and behaviors reinforce cultural values, they create momentum and lasting impact—both inside and outside the company. Culture isn’t static—it’s a living, breathing system that requires continuous care and reinforcement. Leaders set the tone, but real impact happens when culture is embedded in the way we communicate, make decisions, and operate as a team. Grateful for the chance to reflect on this and excited to bring these insights back to my team. #Leadership #CompanyCulture #AgileTeams #AlwaysBeLearning #SXSW Here is a link to the session - https://lnkd.in/gUuM3XaX
