We had a fantastic evening at Auckland After5: The AI-Powered Pipeline, hosted by One New Zealand and TUANZ. The panel discussion highlighted the rapid shift from traditional learning to the AI-driven workplace. It was great to have Skills Group’s Director People, Marketing and Stakeholder Management, Jane Kennelly, represent Skills Group on the panel and to connect with the educators, employers, and industry leaders working to shape the future of work together. We were proud to host, in collaboration with TUANZ, Auckland After5: The AI‑Powered Pipeline at our Auckland Support Office — bringing together educators, employers and industry leaders to talk about the rapid shift from traditional learning to the AI‑driven workplace. The kōrero focused on how digital skills and AI are changing what “work‑ready” really looks like, the role schools and training organisations play in building future‑ready talent, and why upskilling and reskilling our current workforce isn’t a nice‑to‑have — it’s essential. Conversations like this matter, because preparing people for the future of work takes real collaboration across education, business and community. A big thanks to TUANZ for bringing everyone together, and to our very own Sarah Bellett, One NZ, Claire Amos, Albany Senior High School, and Jane Kennelly, Skills Group, for sharing their insights during the panel last night.
