When does implementation end? Around a week ago, we successfully migrated and onboarded a new client LMS. This came after several meetings, many hours of configuration, and plenty of careful planning to meet the needs of the client and their learners. But… I didn’t post about it. There are two main reasons for that: 1️⃣ I was having a busy week, and posting on LinkedIn wasn’t where my energy was at (we’ve all been there, right?) 2️⃣ Because just getting learners and their data migrated doesn’t mean implementation is complete. The week after migration is just as critical as the week prior. It’s when you see how your decisions around dashboards, course structures, and user journeys actually play out in real life. It’s when you quickly discover what was missed. It’s when a “working” system gets its first true test. With good implementation, these risks are minimal… but they’re never zero. Good implementation isn’t about crossing a finish line. It’s about building the foundation for everything that comes next. #LearningAndDevelopment #LMS #Implementation #LearningTechnology #ContinuousImprovement #BeyondTheFinishLine #GrowthMindset

So accurate! In addition, more employees will use it if they were engaged in the process of defining how they believe it can improve their productivity
Here is a scenario that happens way too often. Organizations and institutions realize they need a learning management system, and they go out on a search of off-the-shelf products. They sign an expensive three-year contract for something that is not custom built for their needs and wind up using 30 percent of the features for something that probably forces them to change the way they operate. Essentially a bad rental. Why rent when you can buy? At Bridge View Media, we design, build and implement custom Learning Management Systems that are built for the way you work and only have the features you need. All at a fraction of the cost of what you would pay for renting and implementing what is certainly an out-of-date system that does not give you what you truly need.
