💡 Everyone’s using AI — but few are winning with it. McKinsey & Company just dropped its State of AI 2025 report, surveying nearly 2,000 organizations and the takeaway is clear: while AI adoption is nearly universal, true transformation is rare. Key insights: 📌88% of companies now use AI somewhere in the business but only 1 in 3 have scaled it enterprise-wide. 📌39% reported EBIT impact from AI, yet just 6% achieved a 5%+ profit impact typically by redesigning workflows and fueling innovation, not just automating tasks. 📌62% are experimenting with AI agents, but only 23% have scaled them — mainly in IT and knowledge management. 📌Workforce shifts ahead: 32% of firms expect 3%+ reductions, while 13% expect headcount growth with larger firms more likely to cut. 💭 Why it matters: The message from the top performers is loud and clear: AI only delivers real ROI when it reshapes how work gets done.
