Leadership today requires more than technical expertise — it’s about building balance, adaptability, and resilience to navigate change. One of the most inspiring reminders I’ve come across is that leadership is less about holding a title and more about continuously developing the skills and capacities that help others succeed. Harvard Business Publishing’s 2024 Global Leadership Development Study shares great insights into how leadership is evolving worldwide and what it takes to grow as a leader in complex times. https://lnkd.in/e4EJJRqD

Advancing to a senior role is a milestone, but the same behaviors that fueled past success often do not translate at the next level. Research from MRG shows that leadership effectiveness shifts significantly with each step up, requiring leaders to adapt in meaningful ways. In this webinar, Paul Goetz, Ph.D. (Vantage) and Maria Brown, PhD, BCC, (MRG) will combine global research, data, and real-world strategies to share coaching strategies and practical approaches that help leaders succeed in senior roles. Creating truly psychologically safe leadership across diverse regions requires more than traditional training programmes. It demands experiential interventions—team coaching, action learning, and reflective practice—that allow leaders to embody these principles authentically. The development happens when we create psychological safety within the learning cohort environment itself. Senior leaders experience what it feels like to be heard, challenged constructively, and supported—then naturally begin applying these same conditions within their own teams. Time between sessions isn't just scheduling; it's strategic. Leaders need space to experiment, reflect, and integrate new behaviours before returning to deepen their understanding. Witnessing this transformation with the exceptional senior leadership team at Knauf Insulation Eastern Europe has been inspiring. They're moving beyond theoretical understanding to genuine integration—examining their leadership patterns and using self-reflection as their primary development tool. When leaders do the inner work first, everything else follows.
