Here's an example of Perplexity Comet. (Different day, different results.) My test yesterday didn't go as well, but today it seemed to be more cooperative. I copied my course over to Canvas Free for Educators and asked it complete my course activities as the test student. * It completed discussions, assignments, and quizzes. That means products such as lock down browsers are effectively useless to defeat it. Unless you somehow devise a way to block the entire browser. * It was not able to complete assignments where an external product such as Word or Canva was required to attach. Instead, it added the content to the text box. * The Basic version of Perplexity Comet runs into a prompt limit rather quickly. The Pro version would allow for more course prompts. So, I had to limit it to one module at a time until I hit my daily limit.

I’m fascinated by how learning tech is evolving, seeing companies like PETE use avatars instead of static PDFs or quizzes opens up so many possibilities. It makes me wonder how primary education will change if we start using avatars to engage all types of learners, especially kids with disabilities. My nephew has ADHD, so I see firsthand how learning isn’t one-size-fits-all. Sometimes a students problems are more physiological than psychological. To me, there are two ways to approach educational tech: - Utilize AI to Adapt the content to the learner, or - Provide instructions to the parent or mentor to empower the learner by bridging gaps and support understanding. My design philosophy leans toward empowerment. I believe AI should scaffold and support how students think, helping them digest content in their own way, instead of replacing their unique thinking style. Curious to see if this shift makes its way into classrooms, and how it could shape the next generation of learners.
Old training is static. 💤 New training is interactive. ⚡ With PETE, real-time avatars replace boring PDFs and quizzes so your team learns by 𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨, not just reading.
