Smoothed Particle Galerkin: SPG It can capture ductile material deconstructing and the post-failure material response in small debris. This is a perfect simulation of metal cutting!

This is a small workflow test. A simple plane with a tiled texture and real displacement, turned into a rocky ground surface. Then I’m using different scatter operators on top of it, placing and throwing objects directly on the displaced geometry. No sound, no cuts. Just testing how this tool behaves on non-flat, real materials. I’m currently exploring faster ways to handle the “last detailing pass” in environment design. A Houdini water simulation enhanced with manually created whitewater — built without using the Whitewater Solver. The base water was simulated using FLIP with a lighter particle separation to keep it stable on my system, which may reduce fine detail. Whitewater Setup (Manual): Using Group Expression to isolate fast-moving areas, Blast to refine emission points, VDB From Particles + Volume Rasterize Attributes to form custom foam volumes, and Attribute Create for density and breakup control. This setup gives full manual control over foam, spray, and bubble behavior, creating natural whitewater even at lower simulation resolution. One of the greatest advantages of our Thermal Press Machines is their ability to execute multiple processes within a single cycle. This animation illustrates how two different thermoplastic components can be seamlessly assembled using several heat stakes. Simultaneously, metal inserts are embedded into the plastic, and the mold gate is cleanly detached. Using this simple node setup, we can create a tiling pattern in Unreal Engine materials. All we need are a Texture Coordinate node, a Multiply node, and a Frac node. Connecting it to the UVs input of any shape will result in creating a pattern.

Mesh Deformation in PixiJS using simple plane with 40x30 vertices and sine wave displacement to create basic cloth simulation, still WIP. Pure 2D rendering, no 3D required. #GameDev #PixiJS #WebGL
