Jared Spataro’s Post

Last week, we released the 2025 Work Trend Index—and the response has been incredible. I’ve loved hearing from customers and partners about how the data is sparking real conversations around the rise of the Frontier Firm—organizations that are reimagining work with AI at the core.   This year’s report marks a turning point: 82% of leaders say 2024 is a pivotal year to rethink strategy and operations, and 81% expect AI agents to be deeply integrated into workflows within the next 12 to 18 months. We’re seeing the shift from experimentation to real transformation—where AI evolves from a helpful assistant to a digital colleague, and eventually a key driver of entire business processes.   Thanks to Fast Company for the thoughtful coverage of the report and this new chapter of work. The road ahead is full of potential—and AI, when applied with intention, can help every organization become a Frontier Firm. https://lnkd.in/gAEV9Y_H

Jared Spataro When I joined a new company, I got the usual laptop, water bottle and pen😊 But what would’ve provided real value — to me and the business would have been a personal digital assistant. Not something I have to prompt but something that guides me through the onboarding, connects me with the right people, learns my preferences, tone of voice, recaps my overnight-inbox, drafts emaisl, preps me for meetings - all without needing to be asked. And it sends a powerful signal from employer to employee:  “We’re investing in you.” Not for novelty — but as a fair exchange; the best tools for the best performance. The tangible ROI should result ... Better decisions. Faster product launches. Higher ATV’s. Reduced wage overspend ... the same business KPI's that are already in place. All within a normal working week. (Did someone say 4-day week? 😊) We need to shift the personal-AI conversation: From “this might help” to “this is key to your performance” In my view, we're approaching a point where using AI effectively at an individual level isn’t optional The businesses that land it will raise the bar fairly, positively, tangibly and realistically across their entire business.

If "AI colleagues" are about to emerge, are companies pushing for Return to Office (RTO) might be making a HUGE mistake abandoning digital-first collaboration and the knowledge management goldmine that remote work unlocked?

Exciting to see the momentum building around AI-driven transformation in businesses. The shift from experimentation to full integration is happening fast, and the future of work looks incredibly dynamic. Great insights!
