The investment was spearheaded by Markd with strong participation from DeepWork Capital, Florida Opportunity Fund, Ansay & Associates, Hico Ventures, and JMG Capital. Paperwork is still the biggest productivity bottleneck in financial services. That’s why I’m thrilled to announce that Feathery has raised a strategic venture round from Erie Insurance Group, one of the top insurers in the US. This will continue to fuel Feathery’s journey to becoming the standard for AI-powered data intake within financial services. Feathery hit profitability over a year ago on rapid revenue growth and efficient execution. It was an incredible moment, and we’ve maintained strong cash flow since then that allows us to focus on tackling the most urgent business challenges. However, Zack Khan and I met Rahul Daryanani, CFA at Insurtech Connect last year, and the puzzle pieces came together naturally. We saw synergies both within Erie itself and their extensive network of partners. Feathery serves some of the largest insurers and wealth managers in the country. We already process millions of submissions monthly across hundreds of companies, driving 80% reduction in client onboarding time and 70% reduction in errors. If you’re a financial institution still dealing with manual onboarding and paperwork today, we’d love to show you a better way. And if you’re excited to help us build the future of financial data intake, we’re hiring across growth, ops, and engineering. I’m proud of our incredible team and grateful to our customers for their conviction in what we’re building. ------------------------------------- Thankful for continued support from Kevin Zhang, Luke Byrne, Patrick Murphy, Nina Achadjian, Chris Ahn, Steven Lee, Michael Ma, Zachary DeWitt, Eric Tarczynski, Kevin Hartz, Shabih Rizvi, Thomas Schiavone, Ben Tossell, Gary Wu, David Zhao, Nikhil Punwaney, Sri Viswanath, Jefferson Pitt, Stefan Ludlow, Ryan Mahoney, Michael Pendergrass, Leah Zillner, Chip Kispert, Rich Walker 🏁, Ken Nguyen, MBA, and many more. We wouldn’t be here without you! #financialservices #insurance #insurtech #wealthtech #AI #fundraise #digitaltransformation #clientonboarding

Our Scout InsurTech interview series continues with LAIIER. Matt Johnson sat with Chris Luiz to discuss how LAIIER is impacting the industry. https://lnkd.in/eVpZ7PeG "Our product is a hybrid of hardware and software. The software is a dashboard that sends alerts through SMS and email and integrates with building management systems. The hardware is where things get interesting; it’s what our customers call “smart tape,” a flexible, adhesive water leak sensor with configurable sensitivity. Whether you’re placing it in a pristine data center or a dusty, open industrial facility, we can calibrate sensitivity via software to reduce false positives. That level of customization is critical for our customers who are often managing risk across a wide range of environments." - Matt Join us every week for interviews with emerging startups and high-growth companies impacting insurance. A big thank you to our Presenting Partner, JobsOhio, and our Scout InsurTech Partners: Westfield, Bold Penguin, Ohio Mutual Insurance Group, Grange Insurance, Central Insurance, Western and Southern, Encova and Farmers Insurance. #insurance #technology #insurtech #future #innovation

Federato has announced a major milestone for the insurance industry with the launch of the first enterprise-grade agentic AI platform, designed to transform underwriting efficiency and strategic alignment across the sector. William Ross, CEO and Co-Founder of Federato, stated: “For decades, the insurance industry has been held back by an old core of technologies built on legacy systems and siloed data. What was once a solution is now a limitation, as these systems can no longer meet the needs of a rapidly evolving industry. For the first time, insurers can now adopt an AI-native platform that spans the full policy lifecycle – one that is future-ready and designed to deliver better business outcomes every day.” Also quoted in the story is William Steenbergen, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Federato.
