Great coaching starts with awareness. Awareness deepens when perception meets reality. The Social and Emotional Intelligence Profile (SEIP) offers both self-assessment and 360° observer feedback, giving clients a clear view of how they see themselves and how others experience them. That gap is where transformational coaching happens. Instead of vague development goals, you work with precise, measurable insight, and your engagements become more strategic, more credible, and more profitable. Set up your complimentary SEIP portal today: https://lnkd.in/ghgSjsdA #emotionalintelligence #assessment #coachingtools #leadershipdevelopment #coaching #professionaldevelopment #selfawareness

Weak questions get polite answers. That one line explains a large share of forgettable coaching sessions. A safe, leading, or easy-to-answer question keeps clients in the polished version of their situation. The stronger version creates a small amount of friction, enough to make the client stop, think, and say the thing they were hoping to skate around. Better questions aren't about sounding clever. They're about making enough room for the real answer to surface. #coaching #executivecoaching #coachingskills

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝘀 𝗡𝗢𝗧 Most High-performing professionals I work with are not looking for motivation. They’re looking for clarity under pressure. Motivation fades quickly. Clarity changes behavior. Coaching is not therapy. It’s not consulting. It’s not training. So what is it? It’s a structured space where you stop reacting and start choosing. It’s the shift from: “I don’t know where to start” to “I know what my next step is.” In the next post, I’ll explain what coaching really means — in practical terms. #ExecutiveCoaching #LeadershipDevelopment #Coaching #CareerGrowth

❓"What do I need to prepare before our coaching call later?"❓ A question I often receive in my inbox ahead of beginning a coaching programme with a new client. And it is a great question. 💡 My response is usually “Just come along with an idea of what you'd like to work on in today's session. Whatever is most relevant for you right now to have a bit of thinking space on.” 💭 This might look like reflecting on a specific situation you'd like to learn from to move forward with. Or we can look at what’s most important for you within your areas of focus that you shared in your pre-coaching form. The client will always decide where we start, and I follow their lead by asking curious coaching questions and pulling out useful tools/techniques that might be helpful. 🧰 #coaching #leadershipcoaching #timetothink

Coaching sessions have always been one of my favorite spaces for learning and reflection. What I enjoy most is that it never feels like just talking about problems. For me, it feels more like a productive reflective conversation. A space to pause, think deeply, and turn thoughts into concrete next steps. Whenever I am facing challenges or trying to figure something out professionally, coaching often helps me see things from different angles. Sometimes the questions are simple. Sometimes they are unexpected. But those are often the questions that help me think more clearly. I love how coaching expands my perspective and helps me make decisions with more clarity and intention. If you have never tried coaching before, or have been curious about it, maybe this is your sign. Now it is your turn! Thank you Pak Bambang Styawan for supporting this session! This means a lot for me! #Coaching #ReflectivePractice #LeadershipDevelopment #ProfessionalGrowth #LearningJourney

You’re doing good coaching. You know how to hold space, ask powerful questions, and create real insight. So why does it sometimes still feel… messy? In this article, Dr Steve Jeffs explores a quieter truth many coaches sense but rarely name: Transformation doesn’t live inside the session alone. It lives in the journey that surrounds it. A simple shift in how you see your coaching can change everything. Read the article here >> https://lnkd.in/eyWf4Can #Transformation #thecoachingtoolscompany

Most of my clients come to me with something they want to improve (e.g. Leadeship Presence), or something they want to have (e.g. a career move). And they ask me what they need to do to get it. The journey is then to help my clients get clarity in how they need to show up to get what they want. Comparing with how they show up today, a potential behavioural shift emerges. That behavioural shift is what we deal with in our coaching sessions. Leadership presence or a promotion are outcomes, not coaching objectives. Those who open up to that potential will move ahead faster than others. A long standing associate coach and friend of Transcend International - Coaching and Training , I see how this changes lives , one conversation at a time. Is what you want for yourself an objective or an outcome ? #leadershipcoaching #behaviouralchange #teamcoaching
Last May 12, we proudly launched the newly redesigned Effective and Powerful Goals core programme, facilitated by Craig McKenzie. This programme continues to spark powerful insights and practical shifts for coaches and mentors, creating constructive — and at times disruptive — conversations around how we think and feel about goals. These discussions form the foundation for developing greater skill and mastery in coaching conversations. At Transcend, we challenge the traditional view of goals as fixed destinations or targets. Instead, we help coaches develop well-formed outcomes — creating a clear vision of what they truly want, rather than focusing on what they currently have. Goals then become the meaningful changes and developments needed to move toward those desired outcomes. The result? More intentional growth, more impactful coaching, and deeper transformation. Ready to challenge your thinking and elevate your coaching practice? Join us for the next Effective and Powerful Goals programme on June 3, 2026. 🔗Learn more about the programme: https://lnkd.in/gJAVqZHd 🔗Explore Transcend's other programmes: https://lnkd.in/g7bPaWrY #TranscendInternational #EffectiveAndPowerfulGoals #Coaching #LeadershipDevelopment #CoachTraining #ProfessionalDevelopment
