Picogrid builds hardware and software products that connect sensors, autonomous platforms, and command systems to integrate mission-critical systems across defense and industrial environments. Read about their integration with Palantir's Maven, a $1.3B AI-driven battlefield operations platform used by the U.S. military: https://lnkd.in/gpFFG9Jj
Picogrid and Palantir Technologies collaborated to bridge the information gap between troops operating at the tactical edge and higher command echelons. We have successfully connected our platform, Legion, with Palantir's Maven Smart System, one of the military's most widely used software tools, during a recent XVIII Airborne Corps exercise. This integration solves a critical challenge: delivering real-time, ground-level data—from sensors, drones, and robotics—directly into Maven. This provides high-echelon decision-makers with the immediate, unified operational picture required to accelerate decision speed. Sigma Defense Systems has acquired Aries Defense, a company specialising in tactical video and sensor integration, to expand its command-and-control and ISR capabilities at the tactical edge. Aries’ technology connects UAVs, cameras and unattended sensors in secure, low-connectivity environments — systems already used by the US Marine Corps. Sigma plans to fold these capabilities into its Olympus platform, enabling more resilient, software-defined CJADC2 operations and improved situational awareness where connectivity is limited or contested. It’s Sigma’s third acquisition in two years focused on CJADC2 integration — following Juno Technologies and EWA — signalling a clear bet on multi-domain data fusion as the future of military command networks. How soon before such integrated architectures reach coalition partners too? #defence #commandandcontrol #isr #technologyintegration #cjadc2
